Meet Mom
Kim Cole is the founder and baker
of Mom's Pizza Dough.
Kim started making and freezing pizza dough when she was pregnant
so her family would have quick, healthy meals once her baby was born.
Some people nest; Kim kneaded.
The dough proved to be a godsend and she quickly started sharing
her dough with other new moms. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive
and many encouraged her to sell it. Mom's Pizza Dough was born.
Before starting Mom's Pizza Dough, Kim worked for eight years
in event planning and promotions within the food industry. Born in
Minnesota, she moved to California to attend school. When she and her husband settled in the Bay Area, Kim immersed
herself in the area's great local food and culinary traditions
in order to develop a sense of place in her new surroundings.
She feeds her family organic, locally grown foods and is raising
her daughter to appreciate the seasonal bounty. Kim believes pizza
is the perfect vehicle for enjoying local organic products. It is
fun and delicious! |
